James Burton Richardson, 51, was born on April 21, 1967 in Houston, TX and passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. He was the third of five children born to J.B. and Virginia Lee Richardson. James attended North Shore Elementary, North Shore Jr. High, North Shore Senior High School, and San Jacinto College.

James liked being a stage actor and was involved in the drama club in college. After graduation James began a career as a coffee Artisan. Throughout his life, he lived in Houston, San Diego, and L.A. James was a generous, kind, sweet and courageous person, he was very loving, and after overcoming addiction was dedicated to living a full and happy life.

James was a great lover of Harry Potter and was overjoyed to visit Harry Potter World and Universal. In his spare time, James loved collecting, star-gazing, reading, writing, and drawing. James is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Richardson and Virginia Lee Richardson.

He is survived by his brother, Rex Alan Richardson; sister, Linda Kay Simon; brother, Brian Lee Richardson; and sister Edith Renee Spillman. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at San Jacinto Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life graveside service will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:30am at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, TX.
