James’ Obituary James C. Sciandra, 65 of Kingston, PA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Born in Pittston on April 24, 1953 he was the son of the late James and Flora Merolli Sciandra Jim was a 1971 graduate of Pittston Area. H.S. Following high school he attended Misericordia University where he earned his bachelors degree in Art.

During his later years, James was employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot for 7 years, Butter Krust Baking Company for 20 plus years and he was owner of Jim’s Auto Body Port Griffith. Jim found most joy in writing poetry and along with being an avid model train enthusiast. Surviving are his sons, Carlo and his wife Michele, their daughter Alyssa, and sons Tyler and Luke; Christopher and his significant other Aimee McFarlane and her son Aiden; Michael and fiancee Katy Meade and their daughter Lucy.

Sisters, Laura Pointek and husband Jim, their son Mark; Jayne Brzezienski and husband Mark, their daughters Isabella and Alexandra, brother Anthony Sciandra. Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., Pittston Township, PA 18640 Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5-8pm. Jimmy will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas, PA on Friday, February 1, 2019.
