James Larry Davis age 65 of Americus, GA passed away Sunday February 24, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the residence of Charlene and Raymond Lee 340 Cartwright Road Americus. Mr. Davis was born February 5, 1954 in San Pedro, California son of the late Vernon Otis Davis and the late Margaret Joiner Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by a daughter Darlene Davis Lamb of Bristol, FL and a son Michael Shannon Davis of Panama City, FL. ; a sister and brother-in-law Charlene Davis Lee and Raymond of Americus; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister Anne Davis.
