Obituary for James Donald “Don” Creech James Donald “Don” Creech, 75, of Bardin, FL passed from this life on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Solaris Health Care Center following a short illness. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he resided in Putnam County for 38 years. Don was a master electrician with Armco Steel Company in Middletown for 18 years.

He then worked as a shift supervisor in the chip mill division at Georgia Pacific in Palatka. Don and Marianne owned and operated D&M Food Concessions and White Glove Expediting. Don and Marianne were members of PART (Paleontological Archeological Research Team) and participated in many dives for ancient Florida artifacts.

He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Don was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Bardin. He loved the Lord and was an avid witness for his faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Omer Creech. Don is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marianne Creech of Bardin, his mother, Sarah Creech of Monroe, OH, a daughter, Jana Klontz (Steve) of Wilmington, OH, 4 sisters, Linda Gayle Gillespie of Trenton, OH, Deborah Schunk (Norbert) and Sheila McDonough, all of Middletown, OH and Oma Bowman (Harold) of Germantown, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Services celebrating Don’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church in Bardin with Pastor Rudy Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial donations may be sent to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, FL 32177 or to a charity of choice. Memories and condolences may be expressed to the family at Don’s Book of Memories Page at www.
