Obituary for James E. Polzer Jim passed away unexpectedly of a massive heart attack. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was associated with the Ohio National Bank for 22 years and then went on to finishing his career as owner of Progressive Construction. After retirement he spent his winters in Punta Gorda, and Hobe Sound, Florida.

His summers he enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds and wildlife. He is a member of The Body of Christ and God called him home April 9, 2018 at 1:46 pm. He met his wife Shirley in 1959 and they married in 1962 and almost made it to 56 years of a happy, blissful, and very blessed marriage.

He was a loving husband and he loved his children very much. His family always came first with him. He had a soft heart for the needy, and gave generously to them and ministers sharing the gospel of grace given to the Apostle Paul by the risen Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents Garnett C. Polzer and James C. Polzer. He leaves behind his wife Shirley; son, Keith A. Polzer (Jean) of Jackson, OH; daughter, Melody L. Dailey (Mike), of Hobe Sound, FL; son, James M. Polzer of Canal Winchester, OH; son, John L. Polzer (Sara) of West Palm Beach FL; grandson, Derek J. Polzer; granddaughters, Julie Hasbrook (Zeke), Angela Gueye, Stacy Swords (Mike) and Amber Polzer. Eleven great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, step sister, Lorraine Battaglia of Clearwater, FL.
