James Edward “Bud” Muns Augusta, GA – Mr. James Edward “Bud” Muns, 54, entered into rest February 9, 2019. Mr. Muns worked at the Master’s Golf Tournament for 40 years as a scorer and worked the number 15 scoreboard. He loved working outside and landscaping and in his free time, hunting and fishing.

Bud was a pipefitter for the local Union 150. Mr. Muns was a member of Abilene Baptist Church. Family members include sons: James Edward “Jamie” Muns, II and Andrew Muns; mother: Ruth Aldred Muns; sister: Cynthia Muns Henry (Corbin); brother:Richard Lee Muns, Jr. (Patty); aunt: Mary “Peg” Sunday (Thomas Griffith); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Muns is preceded in death by his father: Richard Lee Muns, Sr. Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Terry Doss officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd.
