Obituary for James Edward Wagner James Edward Wagner, age 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday morning, July 6, 2018 at the family residence. Mr. Wagner was the son of the late Annie Grissom Wagner and James Isaac “Ike” Wagner. His daughter, Lisa Kay King, his sisters, Catherine Johnson, Willy Ruth Wagner and his brother, Arnold Wagner also preceded him in death.

Mr. Wagner served in the U. S. Army National Guard and he worked in construction most of his life working as a backhoe operator. He enjoyed the outdoors including, hunting, fishing, camping and boat riding. He also enjoyed singing and he loved animals.

Mr. Wagner was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joyce G. Wagner of Cleveland, his daughter, Angela Wagner Woodward and her husband David Woodward Sr., his grandchildren, Angel May Myers and her husband Justin, Starla Woodward, David Woodward Jr., Keisha King and Jason Diaz and his wife Joy, his great grandchildren, Alora Myers and Tamara Woodward, several more great grandchildren, his sisters, Ollie Hicks, Margaret Leamon, his brother, Buck Wagner and his wife Clara all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Jason Barnes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Woodward Sr., Justin Myers, Alan Limberge, Chris Limberge, Donnie Eldridge and David Woodward Jr. serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Monday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
