OBITUARY James F. Frias September 23, 1968 – January 18, 2019 James “Jimmy” Frias, 50, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 18, 2019. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Victoria Frias (companion Jose Reis) of Fall River and Jose Frias (wife, Maria Gracinda) of Manitoba, Canada. James was a loving and caring person that loved his family and friends, especially his niece, nephew and great nephew.

He was a diehard fan of the New England Patriots, as well as, a fan of the Fast and the Furious film franchise. He loved hanging out with his childhood friends reminiscing about the old days. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church.

In addition to his parents, James is survived by three brothers, Joseph Frias, Antero Tavares, Valdemar Tavares (companion Tina Rogers) and a sister Veronica Tavares all of Fall River. He was the loving uncle of Lauryn and Cameron Botelho and the loving great uncle of Bryan Robateau who he adored. He is also survived by a large loving family including aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States, Canada and Sao Miguel, Acores.

His funeral service will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:00 pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St. Fall River. Visiting hours Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service. Burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
