Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. He passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home in Sherman.

James was born on November 28, 1948 in Quanah, Texas the son of Robert Oscar Neal and Carrie Mae Cook Neal. James married Rosario Romero on October 24, 1980 in Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Rosario Neal of Sherman, son, Jose Romero and wife Idalia of Sherman, son, Guillermo Romero and wife Claudia of Sherman, son, Robert James Neal of Sherman, daughter, Cindy Zamarripa, sister, Frances Whitfield of Denison, nine grandchildren, Luis, Angel, Paola Iveth, Michael, David, Kimberly, Daisy, Jimena and Dulce.

James is also survived by five great grandchildren, Ava Grace, Noah Michael, David Ivan, Zayden Elan, Alexy and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Neal. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2nd at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM The online register book may be signed at www.
