Obituary for James Franklin Casady BIOGRAPHICAL INFO: James Franklin Casady Passed away: December 28, 2018 @ home with family Date of birth: March 24, 1946 in San Francisco at Presidio Army Hospital to Ed and Edna Casady. Married: Karen Crane in Oakland Temple on April 2, 1977. They have been happily married for 41 years.

HISTORY & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Jim’s jokes and Christmas countdown broke the ice everywhere he went. Everybody loved his sense of humor and jokes. He shared many stories about missionary work in Canada, North Dakota, South Dakota (Central States Mission).

His other favorite topics were truck driving and politics. Jim was a truck driver for 30 years. He worked for multiple companies, the last company was Ryder who had the contract for Coke.

He received an award for 3 million miles with NO accidents. Like the postman, “Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night…” would keep him off the road. Jim left a good impression wherever he went.
