Margaret passed away on February 12, 2019 after a long struggle with Early Onset Dementia and Systemic Lupus. She passed away peacefully in Hospice Care. Margaret was born in London, U.K. to her father Thomas (Scotland) and mother Ellen (Ireland) Crayton on October 09, 1952.

Her family eventually moved to Glen Ellyn, IL where she later met Michael Scamardi (Naperville, IL) and later married November 27, 1993. Immediately after they married they relocated to Sandy, UT, a Salt Lake City suburb, as Mike had relocated earlier for employment. She was preceded in death by her Father and brother Francis.

She is survived by her mother, sister Mary and brothers Terrence, James and Thomas in addition to her husband Mike and 21 nieces and nephews. Margaret received her college degree from Aurora University. Before the combined illnesses incapacitated her she enjoyed long walks with her Labrador Retriever and doing charity work for her church and Meals on Wheels.

She also enjoyed displaying her artistic side through photography and drawing. She will always be remembered for placing others before herself in everything she did. Funeral services were held privately.
