Ken was born on August 30, 1945 and passed away on February 12, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born to Dr. Kenneth Hill and Agnes Elizabeth (Betty) Gibbs. Aside from his 35+ years of research work in the Multiple Sclerosis field, Ken was an ardent outdoorsman.

He loved bowling, fishing, hunting, rock-hounding and camping. His hobbies included digital photography and image modifications, rock art of Utah and rock collecting. On September 20, 2002, he married Connie Lynn McIff and their blended families lasted until his passing.

Ken is survived by his wife Connie and family; Sean (Amber) Hill, Liz (Neal) Lewis and Teddi (Kevin) Floyd, Sheri (Ed) McBride, Paul (Kim) Sindt, David (Anna) Sindt, and Matt (Susan) Sindt. The blended family had 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He had a special extended family of neighbors, friends, nieces, cousins and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard and daughter Xuan. Ken and Connie want to express appreciation to Stephen Aslami, MD, and the staff at Internal Medicine at St. Mark’s, Katie Bauer and others from Red Rock Hospice Care along with many friends and neighbors that “looked” after him and visited him. His celebration of life will be held March 15, 2019 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S State St., Midvale, Utah at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of any flowers, please donate to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
