James G. A. Ainsworth November 03, 1947 – January 18, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card James G. A. Ainsworth, of Fabius, was born Nov. 3, 1947 to the late James Ainsworth and Suzanne Tassen. He was a Cazenovia High School Graduate.

He passed away Fri. , Jan. 18, 2019, of a heart attack.

He was doing what he loved, traveling with the love of his life, his wife, Rita, of almost 53 years. He was enlisted with the Army from 1967-73 as a SP5, with a stay in Germany. He was a sheet metal specialist all his life, retiring from Comfort Systems in 2014.

James loved life and family. He spent his time camping, fishing, microding, enjoying his 35’ Ford car, playing cards, and racing. Besides his loving wife, Rita Pitts, he is survived by his son, James Michael Ainsworth (Renee’); daughter, Michelle Justice (Johnny); grandsons, Jared (Mary) & Jacob (Ashley); granddaughter, Abigail; great-grandson, Parker and expecting twin great-granddaughters, Charlotte & Eleanor; sisters, Ameila Priest (Earl) and Susie McCall (Bern); along with brother & sister–in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours are Thurs. , Jan. 24, from 1-4pm, at the Hartwell Funeral Home, 461 State Rt.

281, Tully, NY 13159. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:15 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House or the VA Hospital.
