James G. McCoy, 94, of Holmdel, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 6th, at Bayshore Health Care Center. James was born on March 12, 1924 in Utila, Honduras to the late John and Genevieve McCoy. John joined the US Merchant Marines Coast Gurad at a very young age.

He served during WW II and continued his life aboard ships. He traveled the world many times as a First Class Steward. James is survived by his devoted children James McCoy Jr., Rosanna McCoy, Maria Day and Sarah McCoy-Acevedo.

Also surviving is his cherished brother George McCoy and 8 loving grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service for James will be held at a later date.
