Obituary for James Gilligan James Gilligan 64 of La Salle. Died April 6,2018 in his home. Private family services will be at Ptak Funeral Home.

Private burial will be at St Vincent Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. James was born November 29,1953 in La Salle to Robert Edmund and Betty (Brust) Gilligan.

He was graduate of St Patrick’s Grade School and La Salle-Peru Township High School. He retired from Consolidated Freightways in Peru, where he worked for over 25 years. James enjoyed Golf, Hiking and listening to Music.

James is survived by his sister Patricia (Jeff) Schryver of Charleston, SC and 3 brothers Jeffrey (Tamara) Gilligan of Plano, TX, John Gilligan of Crystal Lake, IL and Robert (Donnie) Gilligan of Ransom, IL. Several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents.
