James Hardy Warnock, age 92, died on May 13, 2018. He was born in Laurens County to the late Hardy Warnock and Mary D. McCoy on February 11, 1926. He worked for over 40 years at JP Stevens and Forstmann and retired in 1988.

He was a member of Union Baptist Church for over 70 years. James Hardy loved fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He leaves behind two sons, Allen Warnock (Nancy), and Arnold Warnock (Margie), both of East Dublin; three grandchildren, Jessica Foskey (Heath), Daniel Warnock, and Katelyn Johnson (Brandon), all of East Dublin; four great-grandchildren, Baylee Foskey, Maggie Foskey, Evan Foskey, and Bently Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Colleen Harden Warnock in 2005, and his brother, Leroy Warnock. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Jordy Barwick and Rev.

Randy Graham will officiate. Daniel Warnock, Brandon Johnson, Heath Foskey, Tommy Hudson, Donald Warnock, and Melvin Veal will serve as pallbearers. The family will also receive guests at the home of Heath and Jessica Foskey, 924 Ann’s Lane, East Dublin.
