James “Jimmy” Ihinger, 49 of Philo, passed away on January 22, 2019. Jimmy was born on October 2, 1969 in Zanesville. He is the son of T.I. (Joann) Ihinger of Roseville and Ida Lussier (fiance, Terry Fitz) of Philo.

He was a 1988 graduate of Philo High School and a member of the American Legion Post #71 in Roseville. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and he served in the US Marine Corps, serving in Iraq during Desert Storm. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his children, Ty Ihinger of Zanesville, Alexia Ihinger of Zanesville, Jacie Wheeler of Roseville and Riley Ihinger of Roseville; his granddaughter Tylli and his brother, Travis (Jess) Ihinger of McConnelsville.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Ihinger who passed away in 2017. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, on January 28th, 2019 with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating.

He will be laid to rest beside his brother in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
