OBITUARY James J. Swindle October 7, 1928 – September 25, 2018 James J. Swindle, age 89, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Born in Hartsville, Tennessee Sunday, October 7, 1928 he is preceded in death by his wife Freda Swindle; parents, Vestle and Beulah Wright Swindle and sister, Jeanette Patton. He is survived by his daughter, Jackie (Gene) Nickens; granddaughter, Beth Johnson; grandson, Marshall (Melissa) Nickens; great-grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Cody Johnson, Brock Nickens, Brody Nickens; sister, Lois Betty; brothers-in- law, Harold Patton and Clarence Litton; nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Eddie Litton, James Tribble, Jimmy Tribble, Don Brown, Larry Hall, Steve Pemberton, Justin Johnson, Cody Johnson, Brock Nickens, Brody Nickens.

Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 and Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 12:00 until 2:00.
