James’ Obituary James Jenkins, 80, widower of Patsy Durr Burton Jenkins died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his residence. Born October 17, 1938 in McAfee, he was the son of the late Herbert and Lena Jones Jenkins. He attended Shakertown Baptist Church, was a retired employee with Signet Systems and he enjoyed playing Rook, square dancing and working in his vegetable garden.

Survivors include, two sons: Lonnie (Sherry) Jenkins of Danville and Michael (Stephanie) Jenkins of Harrodsburg, one daughter: Tammy Westerfield of Parksville, two brothers: Lonnie Russell Jenkins of Harrodsburg and Dudley Jenkins of Danville, one sister: Mary Georgia Bennett of Louisville, nine grandchildren: Earl Driskell, Anthony Jenkins, Warren Westerfield, III. , Jeromy Westerfield, Tucker Jenkins, Brayden Jenkins, Dyllan Harley, Bri Love and Abby Love and three great grandchildren: Chloe Driskell, Levi Driskell and Tyler Driskell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son: Ronnie Jenkins, four brothers: Franklin, Lawrence, Howard and Benny Jenkins and two sisters: Diane Jenkins Cornish and Nancy Inman. Funeral services will be conducted, 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with John Kesel officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Warren Westerfield, III, Jeromy Westerfield, Earl Driskell, Tucker Jenkins, Russell Jenkins, Brayden Jenkins, Gary Ryan and Brett Buchanan serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 15, 2019 and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may also take the form of donations to the Heritage Hospice, P.O.
