James “Jim” Clemmons Sills, III of Irving, Texas January 30, 1928 – December 30, 2018 Jim Sills, 90, of Irving died on December 30, 2018 in Euless, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1928 in Valley Mills, Texas to the late James Clemmons Sills, Jr. and Nell DeHart Sills. He attended Sul Ross University and West Texas State University.

He served in the U. S. Navy and was a Supervisory Auditor for Mobil Oil. He married Eva Ruth White on June 10, 1953. They were members of First Baptist Church of Irving.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, Bob, and Jack; and wife, Ruth Sills, Jim is survived by his son, J. Guy Sills of Euless. A Committal Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, 75211. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 403 South Main Street in Irving.
