James “Jim”‘s Obituary GRAY, James “Jim” – Of Swartz Creek, age 68, died Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A memorial service will be held 2pm Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the Genesee County Humane Society. Visitation 1pm Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home. James was born in Flint on September 30, 1950, the son of the late Carl and Barbara (Hancock) Gray.

On August 8, 1998 he married Ronna Cole. Jim was employed at General Motors/Delphi for over 30 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and a NASCAR fan.

Surviving are wife, Ronna; Children, Carl, Chris (Sandy), Jeff (Crystal) Farr, Kimberly “fiance” Richard Connet; grandchildren, Olivia, Joshua, James, Nolan, Gabrielle, and Sydney; sister, Becky (Skip) Guffin; brothers, John and Jeff; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends a thank you to Ascension Genesys Hospital ICU.
