Obituary for James “Jim” Newton McCubbins James “Jim” Newton McCubbins, 68 of Shepherdsville passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at his home. He was honored to serve as a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Selby Patterson McCubbins and Dorothy Etherton.

Jim is survived by his brother Jack McCubbins (Juanita) of Chaplin, KY; along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00 p.m..
