James Roland Culp Sylacauga, AL – Funeral service for James Roland Culp, 80, will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Eddie Forbus officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

On Sunday, December 23, 2018 James (Jimmy) Culp passed away. A native of Sylacauga, Jimmy joined the USAF after graduation. He served 21years before retiring in 1977 and returned home to Sylacauga.

His hobby was his 1951 Commander Studebaker. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his children, Reay (Phyllis) Culp of Sylacauga, Karen (David) Centers of Wilsonville, Tracy (Barry) McClellan of Sylacauga, Donna (Adrian) Scroggins of Bessemer, Michael Culp of Sylacauga, Michelle (Stan) Smith of Sylacauga, Susan (Kevin) Arvin of Pelham, Ken Green of Springville; he will also be missed by his 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Sandra) Culp of Goodwater. Visitation will be Wednesday December 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
