James Kevin “Jamie” Vining, age 45, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vining was born on August 25, 1973 in Homerville, Georgia the son of the late James Orville Vining and Lillian Chaney Vining. Mr. Vining was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Mullis. Survivors include his daughter, Amber Reddy and spouse Brooke of Douglas, GA; son, Chris Stone and wife Sarah of Broxton, GA; brother, Johnny Brown of Willacoochee, GA; two sisters, Ann Spivey of Willacoochee, GA and Ellen Smith of Pearson, GA; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 21, 2018 at 4:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3 until 4:00pm before the service. Music was provided by CD, “Lay Me Down” and “Seven Spanish Angels”. Memorialization is by cremation.
