Obituary for James Killeen James P. Killeen, age 77 passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Staten Island, New York and moved to Toms River, New Jersey in 1968. He was a member of Local #1 Elevator Union for 39 years, before retiring in1999.

He was a diehard New York Giants fan and loved playing golf with his buddies. He was pre-deceased by his four brothers, Joseph, Martin, Michael and Thomas. Surviving is his loving wife of 56 years, Jane, his son James F. and his wife Cheryl, daughters Joan, Kathleen Stanton and her husband Joseph, Carolyn Sickler and her husband Shawn, along with his seven grandchildren, Jamie, Cassidy, Alyssa, Joseph, Shane, Kevin and Julia.

He is also survived by his sister Kathleen Potterfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 3 to 7, with a prayer service at 6:30 at Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
