OBITUARY James L. McPherson August 17, 1934 – July 11, 2018 James Lee McPherson WEST COLUMBIA – James Lee McPherson, 83, of West Columbia, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born August 17, 1934. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 14, 2018 at Southland Memorial Gardens.

Surviving are his daughters, Sharon M. Allen and Virginia G. Rexrode; son, James S. McPherson; son-in-law, Rick Allen and close friend, Leonard Barefoot, all of West Columbia; also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. James was predeceased by his wife, Betty Sharpe McPherson and a son, Michael McPherson. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
