James L. “Jim” Thompson, age 67 of Fitchburg, WI formerly of Argyle, WI passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his home in Fitchburg. He was born July 15, 1951 in Monroe, WI the son of Paul and Irene (Paulson) Thompson. Jim graduated from Argyle High School in 1969.

He grew up in the Argyle and went on to college at UW-Platteville. During his college yrs. he traveled with the rock bands “Clicker” and “Hardroad” where he played bass guitar and sax.
