James O. Hixon Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in the Red Rock Cemetery. Mr. George Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the Red Rock Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Hixon passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 in his home. He was born on September 19, 1946 in Chillicothe, Ohio.

He grew up in Chillicothe and Graduated from Chillicothe High School. James Hixon married Rosetta Adams on July 11, 1965 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was a retired Locksmith and Correctional Officer from the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City.

He served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Winfred Hiram & Mary Lulu (Hughes) Hixon. 2 Brothers: Robert & Timothy Hixon and Brother in law: Pete Delong, Sister in Law: Esther Hixon.

Survivors include: His wife Rosetta Hixon of the home. 4 – Daughters: Felicia Sowers of El Reno, OK. Marlena Miles & Husband Gana Nicholson of El Reno, OK.

Lynn Lancaster of El Reno, OK. Amy VanGundy & husband Thomas of Ashland, KY. Sisters: Sharon Delong of Kingston, OH.

Mary Fulks & husband Danny of Circleville, OH. Winda Hopkins & husband Russell of Frankfort, OH. Sister in law: Charlotte Hixon of Chillicothe, OH.

14- Grandchildren and 9 – Great Grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
