James’ Obituary James Oliver Beddingfield of Holden, La passed away at his home on May 23, 2019. Born in Moscow, Mississippi on February 4, 1941. Mr. Beddingfield was a truck driver by trade and was affectionately known as “Swamp Fox” by his truck driving friends.

Although he battled a lengthy illness for many years, he was able to celebrate his 59th anniversary with the love of his life on May 21, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Hancock Beddingfield; daughter Janice Lynn and husband Robert Brabham; son James Randall “Randy” Beddingfield and wife Tammy; son Ronald Scott “Scotty” Beddingfield and wife Sarah; daughter Karen Louise and husband David King; daughter Melissa Ann “Missy” and husband Ray Thomas; son Bryan Edward “Bubby” Beddingfield and wife Tina; daughter Jennifer Helen “Jenny” and husband Herbert Woodard; one brother Hayward Beddingfield; 19 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; and 2 great- granddaughters on the way. Preceded in death by his father Bapp Woodley Beddingfield; mother Margaret Helen Vick; 4 brothers and one sister.

The family would like to thank Concerned Care Hospice: Tiffany Hebert, Rayna Morgan, Belinda Seals, Chaplain J, and Alice Sherard. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2019, and from 8:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 Monday, May 27, 2019. Interment Arcola-Roseland, Roseland, LA.
