OBITUARY James P. Bennett July 3, 1959 – July 8, 2018 James “Jimmy” Bennett, 59, of Crystal Lake, passed away on July 8, 2018. He was the loving and dedicated son of the late Gerald and the late Carol. Beloved brother of Walter “Bill” (Deb), Robert Bennett and the late Cathy Hartman.

Proud uncle of Nicholas, Jordan, Christopher, and Stefani Bennett. Dear nephew of Marjorie (Ted) Ahlgren. Jim was an athlete, fan, and teacher of multiple sports and he impacted many young athletes during his career.

After retirement he dedicated his life to the care of his elderly father. Visitation at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, on July 12, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., where family and friends will join for a Moment of Sharing at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations, in his memory may be made to: Seva Foundation 1786 Fifth Street Berkeley, CA 94710 or visit: seva.org.
