Mr. James Perleman McWaters, 71 of Enigma died Sunday morning, April 22, 2018, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. The family will have private family services at a later date. Mr. McWaters was born November 3, 1946, in Butts Georgia to the late James McWaters and Annie Kate English McWaters.

Mr. McWaters moved to Engima in 2005 from Ocoee, Florida. He was a former mechanic and welder and he loved to fish. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Tenney McWaters, along with his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Mona McWaters of Alapaha, two daugters and son-in-law Barbara and Richard Hood of Polk City, Fl.

and Rhonda Faye McWaters of Enigma, one sister Rebecca Price of Sibley, Iowa, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren .
