Obituary Mr. James R. Helminiak, age 75, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The son of the late Eugene and Leona (Kurlinski) Helminiak, he was born on January 7, 1944 in Bay City. Jim was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Kostka High School Class of 1961.

He worked for 39 years at Bay City Powertrain as a crib supervisor and also worked part-time at Sears in downtown Bay City for 25 years.
