James Ray Davidson, age 77, of Pickett Care and Rehab and formerly of Oak Street in Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born Mar. 1, 1941 in Byrdstown, TN to Cosby and Ruth (Walker) Davidson.

He was a logger and dozer operator. Ray is survived by (1) Daughter: Sheila Buck; (5) Sons: Lelon “Cowboy” Davidson, Frankie Davidson, Stacy Davidson, Tracy Davidson and Jessie “Pete” Davidson; (1) Sister: Lisa Davidson; (2) Brothers: Billy Davidson and Robbie Davidson; (6) Grandchildren; (10) Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Cosby and Ruth Davidson; (1) Grand Daughter: Jennifer Nicole Davidson. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating.

Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery. *The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel.
