Charles Glenn Dyer, age 70, of Ironwood Dr. in Nashville, Tn and formerly of Pickett County, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Summit Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born August 1, 1947 in Livingston, TN to Raymond Dyer and Ova (Sells) Dyer. He worked for Kenworth Trucks of Tennessee, served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Byrdstown First Baptist Church.

He is survived by (1) Son: Charles Glenn Dyer II; (1) Grandson: Jacob Dyer; (2) Sisters: Lola Dyer Sloan and Pamela Cash; (1) Brother: David Dyer. He is also survived by nieces,nephews, other family members, and friends. Charles is preceded in death by his Parents: Raymond and Ova Dyer; (3) Brothers: Randall Dyer, Michael Dyer, and Dwight Dyer; (1) Sister: Pat Bracy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. from the Smyrna Church. Bro. Rick Cross will be officiating and burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery.
