Graveside service and interment for James “Ray” Turner, 68, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 1:00PM at Hamby Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Bill Stone officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Turner died December 30, 2018. He was born March 18, 1950 in Arkansas. He was retired from Delphi where he has worked in quality assurance.

Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Leo Turner and Nina Martin Turner and his dog, Bama. Survivors include: His Wife: Cathy J. Holmes His dog: Molly Two Brothers-in-law: Zack Holmes John Holmes Five Sisters-in-law: Mary Edith Griffin Barbara Neal Alice Johnson Judy Fortenberry Sandy McCleskey Special Nephew: Billy Fortenberry Special Nieces: Heather McCleskey and Chloe Hempfling And a host of other nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be family In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Eva Food Bank at P.O. Box 68, Eva, Alabama 35621.
