James Robert Crawford, age 65, died December 22, 2018, in Albert Lea. James was born on July 9, 1953 in Austin, Minnesota, the son of William and Beverly (Hansen) Crawford. He grew up in the Albert Lea area, graduating from Albert Lea High School.

He went on to study mechanical drafting at the vo-tech. On May 28, 1993, James was united in marriage to Cindy Attig in Albert Lea. James enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, and camping, as he loved a good bonfire.

He also loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids. James is survived by daughter, Onnah Boyer (Luke Boyer); sons, Adam Scott (Crystal Gartner) and Alex Scott (Elisha Knudtson); brothers, Randall Crawford (Shirley), Craig Crawford (Karen), Brian Crawford, Larry Crawford (Mary Armstrong), and Mitch Wadding (Gina), brother-in-law, Kelvin Attig; grandkids, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. James was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; parents, Beverly and William; and sister, Angela Macintosh.

There will be no funeral service at this time. The family will host a Celebration of Life in the spring. Cards can be sent to daughter, Onnah or brother, Randy.
