McBee, S.C. Funeral services for James Roosevelt Huggins, age 90, will be held Friday at 3:00 at the Beauford Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Williams and Rev.

Duane Stegall will officiate. Burial will be in the Beauford Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Huggins was born in McBee a son of the late Benjamin F. Huggins, Sr. and Emma Poston Huggins. He retired from Sonoco Products Company after 39 1/2 years of service, was a member of the Old Timers Club and was a member of Beauford Baptist Church where he was the oldest Charter Member of the church and served as a Deacon until his death. He loved Bluegrass music and loved fishing and hunting.

Surviving are two daughters, Joanne (James) Poston, Lugoff and Betty Jean Radford, Jefferson; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sullivan Huggins; one son, James Thomas Huggins; two brothers, Benjamin (Doc) F. Huggins, Jr. and Willie Huggins; two sisters, Margaret Ann Melton and Louise Johnson. Memorials may be made to the Beauford Baptist Church % Danny Bradshaw, 1504 Sandy Run Creek Road, McBee, S.C. 29101.
