Obituary for James Saydek Piscataway Township/New Port Richey, FL– James Saydek, 73, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home in Florida. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Michael and Erna (Jackistadt) Saydek, he settled to Piscataway almost 50 years ago. For the last ten years, James has been sharing a residence in New Port Richey.

An honorable discharged veteran of the United States Navy, James served upon the USS Sagacity in the Mediterranean and Guantanamo Bay. He retired from Verizon phone company in the early 1990s. James enjoyed fishing and fixing and collecting cars.

Predeceased by his wife who died in June of 2007, Regina (Szymanski) Saydek and son who died in 1984, James Christopher; surviving are his daughter, Annmarie Saydek of Piscataway; three sisters, Betty Atalla, Joan Amborse and Barbara DiGrazia and brothers in law, Raymond Szymanski and wife Carole, Leonard Szymanski and wife Mary Ann and Walter Szymanski and wife Peggy.
