Mr. Barr is survived by his wife, Monette Meeks Barr; daughter & son-in-law, Melody Barr King & Chris; son & daughter-in-law, Jeremy Barr & Candace; sister, Peggy Barr Percival; sister-in-law, Dorothy Barr; grandchildren, Drake King, Alex Barr, Morgan Barr and Mason Barr; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rachel Wright Barr & Kenneth B. Barr; brother & sister-in-law, Dalton Barr & Jean; brother, Donald Barr; and grandchild, Gavin Barr.

A graveside service for Mr. James W. “Jimmy” Barr will be held at 2 pm Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Bob Cox will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
