James’ Obituary James William “Jim” Boor, Sr., 69, of Dennison, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Born March 18, 1949 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Paul David and Regina Ann “Jean” (McCool) Boor. Jim was a lifelong Twin City resident and a graduate of Claymont High School.

His surviving family includes his children, Billie Jo “B.J.” Porter, Paula Boor, and James Boor, Jr.; grandchildren, Ashlee Pebworth, Schatzie Bear, Josephine Elerick, William “Bubba” Porter, Jr. who was the love and joy of his life, Codie Boor, Heath Porter, Lexi Boor, and Danyalle, David, Craig and Isabella Higgins; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, and Keoni; siblings, Paula (Dave) Hensley, Howard D. Boor, and Jean (Robert) Haney; many nieces and nephews; and his former spouse, Tina Boor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Segee; sister-in-law, Brenda Smith; and former spouse, Bonnie Boor. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation or service.
