Obituary of James Baker James B. Baker III, passed away peacefully Christmas morning, December 25, 2018. Bob brightened the lives of everyone around him. Born in Fort Worth February 9, 1931 to Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Baker Jr., he was a member of a pioneer nursery and real estate development family.

Baker Bros. Nursery was established in 1884 by his grandfather and was in business for 103 years. Bob graduated from Texas Tech in 1953 with a degree in horticulture and landscape architecture and was a Phi Delta Theta.

After graduation he served as an Air Force Lt. He was a member of many professional nursery associations, Kiwanis, Jaycees, the Fort Worth Club and Colonial Country club. A private celebration of life will be in La Jolla, CA.

Memorial: First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, Japanese Gardens of Fort Worth Survivors: His loving wife of 50 years, Earline, daughter Ashley Greer, husband Lance and granddaughter Windsor, La Jolla, CA.
