Jamie Speth Heiland died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in Corvallis, Montana. Born in Logan, Utah, on May 22, 1976, Jamie spent her early years in Alaska. In 1979, the family moved to Montana, wherein Jamie found her forever home.

She attended Corvallis Elementary School and then the family moved to Darby, where she graduated high school, having spent her years there excelling academically while involved in numerous activities, loving her years as a cheerleader. She attended Ricks College then transferred and graduated from the UofM with a degree in Business Management. Along the way, she fell in love with a big red truck, and the guy that drove it.

Adam lit her eyes up and made her feel like the queen she deserved. In 2000, she married her cowboy. Adam was her rock, her support through M.S., and her best friend.

They welcomed two awesome kids: Laney in 2004, who inherited her beauty and many artistic talents, and Colt in 2008, who inherited her infectious smile and kind heart. Jamie was an accomplished business owner on her own and with Adam. She was an extremely hard worker, maintaining their beautiful yard (and sometimes the house!

) but always found time to devour books and stay connected to friends and family. She could cook any meal from her big garden and food storage, much of which she canned or found on an amazing deal. Most nights of the week, Jamie was either providing service to her friends, members of her LDS church family or running her kids to activities.

Together, Jamie and Adam spent many hours travelling to competitions, watching sporting events, and attending school activities, ensuring that the kids were receiving a foundation of hard work and having lots of fun along the way. Jamie was an amazing example of Christ-like love. She wasn’t quick to judge and would listen for hours and then envelope you in warmth, whether in person or over the phone.

Her kindness and beauty will be missed until we get to meet again. She is survived by her husband Adam Heiland, daughter Laney, son Colt, mother Bonnie Speth, parents-in-law Mary and Pat Thomas, Steve and Vickie Parker and Jim and Barb Heiland, brothers John Speth and Brady (Carrie) Speth, sister Brooke (Hans) Brown, brothers-in-law Josh (Christine) Heiland, Mike (Carly) Heiland and Ben Thomas, sister-in-law Lisa (Scott) Camp, nephews Doxley and Ritter Brown, Jack Speth, Cooper Heiland, Morgan and Wylie Heiland, nieces Faith Camp and Siena Speth, and endless other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her dad Jack Speth and brother Brandon Speth.

We love you to the end of the numbers and more, Jamie. Services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 2:00pm at the Corvallis LDS Chapel.
