Obituary for Jane A. Plummer PLUMMER – Jane A., 89, Summerhill, died May 19, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born August 27, 1928, in Mineral Point, daughter of Lawrence and Grace (Burns) Kimmel. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond R. “Pop” Plummer Sr., who died August 27, 2002; son, Raymond Plummer Jr.; sister, Rosemary Anderson; brothers, John, Richard and James Kimmel; and son-in-law, Thomas Malchesky.
Survived by children, Janet, wife of George Minor, Salix; Barbara Malchesky, Albemarle, North Carolina; William, married to Betty (Surkosky), Summerhill; Donald, married to Marie Jo (Mutch) Summerhill; Lawrence, married to Maryann (Kovalchik), Etters; Kenneth, married to Ann (Burns), Summerhill; Debra, wife of Brian Kundrod, Denver, Pennsylvania; and Mary Ann, wife of Charles Tedjeske, Summerhill; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Ford, Mineral Point; and Rita Gideon, Jacksonville, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. Jane was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael. She enjoyed playing pinochle, was a talented cook and was known for her wonderfully delicious cakes.
She especially enjoyed spending time with family and cherished her beloved grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where vigil will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fr.
Brian Warchola, Celebrant. Committal, St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery, Wilmore. The family is especially grateful to Homewatch CareGivers, Integrity Home Care, and her personal care givers for their kindness and support.
