Our thoughtful Lord above called home one of his daughters on the evening of Feb. 10, 2019. Jane Lucille Harper passed away peacefully at McKay Dee Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She fought the good fight for many years against her chronic condition known as Non-Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis. She was always the mother to go to when you needed an extra wide smile on your face. She would challenge you to be the best you could be when times were hard.

She brought out the best in lots of people. She was also known as a titan in the nursing field and passed on a wealth of knowledge to many she taught. She is survived in her passing by her father, Frank Cattelan who was there holding her hand in her final hours.

She also leaves behind two loving sons, Chad and Ryan Harper whom she was so proud of; her loving husband, Richard Harper that never left her side; a granddaughter, Adeline Harper who loved and enjoyed spending every Monday for the past 2 years with her and a daughter-in-law, Whitney Harper that made her fill like her own daughter. Also surviving are her sisters, Jean Paskett and Taunia Staples that never left her side. Also, all the friends and co-workers that knew her.

You all know who you are. For all those that would like to attend and say their final goodbyes, a viewing will be held on Saturday morning, Feb. 16, 2019, from 9 to10:45 am at the LDS church in Henefer Utah followed by a funeral service at 11 am celebrating Jane’s life.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday afternoon at the Echo Cemetery. A huge thanks also goes out to all the staff at McKay Dee Hospital ER, ICU, IMC, and Medical Units and the staff at Thatcher Brook Rehab who cared for our mother in her final months. Your services and efforts can never be thanked enough.
