Obituary for Jane Hoffman (Sprengel) Jane Hoffman, 98 of Toledo passed away peacefully on November 29,2018. Born May 28, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio to William H. and Mary Jane (Davies) Sprengel. Jane was a lifetime resident of West Toledo and a homemaker most of her life.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing pinochle with friends and playing the organ. Jane attended the Lambertville United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Collingwood United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of Peace Circle. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carl D. Hoffman; son, Thomas D. Hoffman; grandson, Ryan Noll; brother, William Sprengel Jr. Surviving are her daughter and son- in-law Susan & Michael Steinmiller; grandchildren, Meredith Steinmiller, Kelsey (Brittany) Noll, Darby Noll, Deana Steinmiller, Sara (Randy) Gueli and also many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 3:00-8:30 P.M with services at 7:00 P.M. at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road. Memorial donations in memory of Jane may be made to Lambertville United Methodist Church or a charity of donor’s choice.
