Obituary for Quintin Earl Newton (Newton) . Quintin was born to the late Booker Newton and Elnora Castlen in Owensboro, KY. February 7, 1952.

Quintin went home to be with our Heavenly Father Saturday December 15, 2018 at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, Booker and Elnora, sister Shirley, and significant other Stephanie Gillespie. He graduted fom Libbey High School.

Quintin was a veteran and served in the US Air Force. He also worked as a firefighter for Toledo Fire and Rescue. During his employment at Toledo Fire and Rescue he was a member of Local 92.

Later in his career and prior to retirement he worked as an independent truck driver. Those who knew Quintin remembers his laid back demeanor and sense of humor. Quintin leaves to cherish in his memory 5 children Patrick Newton, Angela (Edmund) Smith, LaQuintta Newton, Keisha Newton, and Quintin Newton; 10 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; special niece Elloraine Maddox, other relatives and close friends.

He will be missed by those whom had an honor to know him. The family would like to express gratitude to the staff at UTMC, St. Vincents Medical Center, The Toledo Hospital, and Heartland of Promedica.
