Janet Joan Wilkinson, 79, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away May 8, 2019. She was born October 4, 1939, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Charles Pound and Joan Cross Pound. Janet worked at Hobart Corporation as the first ever female District Manager.

Janet collected clowns and teddy bears. She loved to write children’s stories. Janet is survived by her children Roberta “Bobbi” Boman and Christopher Michael Stephenson (Sheri); brother-in-law Ed Campbell; and her K-9 companion Pepper.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Wilkinson, in 2014, her parents, and her sister Barbara Campbell. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2:00p.m., at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Larry Spear and Father Dan Bedel will officiate.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Greiner Funeral Home.
