Obituary for Janette Chenault Colbert Janette Chenault Colbert, age 95 of Goodlettsville passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Goodlettsville, TN. Arrangements entrusted to Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 2619 Hwy 41 S., Greenbrier, TN 37073. The family will receive friends 10am to 1pm on Saturday, April 14 and the service will follow at 1pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Rev.

Nathan Washburn officiating and music provided by Rev. Jon Briggs. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens.

She was born February 17, 1923 in Minter City, MS and grew up in Okolona, MS the only child of Janet and Grady Chenault. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thomas S. Colbert. She was a housewife and a member of Greenbrier First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Colbert is survived by her daughters, Janis (Jim) Evans of Greenville, NC, Gail (Neal) Hancock of Ridgetop, TN; grandchildren, Shanon Hancock. , Jana Watkins, Louis Holland; great-grandchildren, Emile, Jules, Colbert, Will, Keenan and Amelia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
