He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Wayne Walker, Sr. and Catherine Teresa Pace Walker Groom. He is survived by his sons, Robert and Brian Walker; brother, Raymond Walker; sisters, Heather Beavers and Tammy Walker Sotherland.

There will be a gathering of friends on Saturday, June 2, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville.
