Obituary for Martha Ann Tate Age 77 of White House passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home. She was born May 2, 1941 in Springfield, TN to Clebren Elvis and Mary Margaret Bollinger Krisle. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of White House First United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed cooking and watching football on television. She especially liked the Tennessee Vols and the Titans. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Douglas Tate; brother, Jerry Krisle.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Tate, Smyrna, TN and Tim (Donna) Tate, West Point, Mississippi; brother, Michael Krisle, Cross Plains, TN; sisters, Paulette (Thomas) Burrows, Goodlettsville, TN, Connie Kay Swann, Cross Plains, TN, Peggy Kay (Clifford) Hooper, Daytona Beach, FL, Mary Jane Covington, White House, TN, Betty Stewart, Cross Plains, TN and Susan (Terry) Atchley, Springfield, TN; 4 grandchildren, Stefanie Tate, Emily (Bryan) Brown, Reiley Tate and Kye Tate. Graveside service and interment is scheduled for 11am Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Hillcrest Cemetery with Danny Alan Warren officiating and with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Wednesday, May 23, 2018 4-8pm and Thursday, May 24, 2018 9-11am at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.
